Privacy Policy
How ONBOARD CLUB processes personal data when you visit the website, contact us or use our digital tools.
Last updated: 6 October 2026.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Mascia Luciani, owner of the ONBOARD CLUB brand, with professional address at Via Castellano 1572, 63811 Sant’Elpidio a Mare (FM), Italy. Italian tax code: LCNMSC79D45I324Y. Contact email: almasnautico@gmail.com.
Italian VAT number (P.IVA): 02619120443.
2. Data processed
The website may process data voluntarily provided by users, such as name, email address, message content and information entered into forms or tools. Technical data necessary for website operation and security may also be processed, including HTTP request information, device, browser, IP address and technical logs managed by infrastructure providers.
Users should not enter unnecessary personal data, banking details, health data or other special categories of personal data, credentials, trade secrets or confidential third-party information into ONBOARD tools.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Depending on the context, data is processed to provide functionality requested by the user; respond to enquiries; provide pre-contractual information; manage orders, digital products, licences and support; comply with legal obligations; ensure security, continuity and abuse prevention; and manage commercial communications only where an appropriate legal basis exists and, where required, consent has been given.
Legal bases may include steps requested by the data subject, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in securing and protecting services and, where applicable, consent.
4. Contact form
Data submitted through the contact form is used to read and manage the request. Required fields must be completed in order for us to respond. Acknowledging this Privacy Policy does not constitute consent to marketing.
5. “ONBOARD Preventivo Sicuro / Quote Check” tool
When a user runs ONBOARD Preventivo Sicuro / Quote Check, the information entered is used only to perform the requested check, calculate indicators, produce the result and generate the PDF report. The tool does not require an account and ONBOARD does not use a website database to store the entered content as a user history.
Part of the review runs directly in the browser. For the contextual AI synthesis, only the information needed for the analysis is sent through a protected server function to the technical providers involved in processing. This is technical processing and should not be confused with a permanent ONBOARD archive.
The Free Check PDF is generated in the user’s browser. ONBOARD does not automatically receive a copy of the generated PDF.
6. Artificial intelligence
ONBOARD currently uses the OpenAI API for the contextual synthesis in the Free Check. Under the standard API data controls, API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the API account owner explicitly opts in to data sharing. According to the provider’s published information, under standard API handling some API inputs and outputs may be securely retained for up to 30 days to provide the service and identify abuse, unless a different eligible retention configuration applies to the account or endpoint.
For this reason, ONBOARD does not describe the tool as providing “zero retention” across every technical provider. Users should avoid entering unnecessary personal or confidential information.
7. Providers and recipients
To the extent necessary, data may be processed by providers supporting the website and services. The website is currently hosted on Netlify; the Free Check AI function uses OpenAI; email communications may pass through the email provider used. Stripe may be used for products with an active checkout and processes payment data under its own terms and privacy notices.
ONBOARD CLUB does not store full payment-card details when payment is handled by an external payment provider such as Stripe.
8. International data transfers
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, such processing must be subject to safeguards recognised by applicable law, including adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms.
9. Retention
ONBOARD retains data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, where applicable, for periods required by law. Contact requests are retained for the time reasonably necessary to manage the relationship; contractual and administrative records are retained for applicable civil and tax periods.
Content entered into the Free Check is not saved by ONBOARD in a user database. This does not remove technical/security logs or the processing and retention periods applied by infrastructure and API providers under their own terms.
10. Data-subject rights
Where provided for by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Requests may be sent to almasnautico@gmail.com. Users may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
Information on technologies used and consent preferences is available in the Cookie Policy.
12. Minors
The ONBOARD CLUB website and products are not specifically intended for minors and are not designed to knowingly collect personal data from minors.
13. Updates
This notice may be updated when the website, tools, providers, services or legal requirements change. The latest revision date is shown at the beginning of this page.
